Clarks 

Advantages: High quality comfortable shoes.

Disadvantages: Sometimes the high price.

Clarks are really great make of footwear and not only in high street stores but also bought online. I own 4 pairs of Clarks' shoes now and all of them are as comfortable as they are durable. Above all, all of them were bought online in size 4, fit: D.
That indicates the standardised shoe sizes of Clarks and their reliability.

As Clarks are on a pricey side, I chose to shop around on eBay and look for new shoes usually bought in error by others who never got to return them in time for a refund. That way shoes are new but at the fraction of original price, which suites me the most.

I acquired one pair of mules, one pairs of wedges in gladiator style, one pair of mid heel sandals and great pair of high slouchy boots last winter.

The mules are made of red leather including insole, with soft rubber sole. Outside is plaited and soft, very well adjusting to the shape of your feet.

The wedges are quite high but they are well balanced and still very comfortable. The outside is made of black stripey leather, very soft and supple with beige colour leather insole and flexible sole unit. I like them very much because of their versatility; they look great as much with jeans as with skirts and dresses.

Beige leather sandals have the gold leather lining and insole which gives them a slightly fairy-taley image. Medium heel is still comfortable but looks nearly high, therefore great with skirts and dresses but also look stylish with jeans and linen trousers. These are great party sandals.

And lastly my favourite high leg slouchy boots made of supple black leather. They're pull-on style with short zip around the ankle area for ease of "pulling". To aid the "pulling action" they have leather loops on each side of the boot top. The sole is a flexible rubber unit with 3 inch high heel and about 1/2 inch small platform. Insole of the boot is slightly padded for comfort and finished in leather. Overall great winter boots looking its best with funky, hippy dresses.

I think I have proved my point, that Clarks footwear can be bought on internet safely, as long as your choice of size and fit is right.

Summary: Quality that not always has to come with a cost.
