I bought my Clio Expression with an 05 registration a year ago.
Both, I and my husband, use it frequently and we can't complement it enough for what a nice little car it is. I know that many people have problems; some with leaking roofs, others with mechanical things or electronics.
However we, touch wood, never experienced any problems, even though this winter's driving conditions were very testing. Not even once had we a problem with starting, it always does it the first time.
Call me mad but I even talked to it, expressing my happiness and gratitude towards her for being such good car to both of us.
She is still a looker with just a minor scratches and after each wash and buff she's just as good as new.
Clio is a very nippy car, ideal for city drive but is also strong enough to be not out of place on the motorway. She takes 70 easily, although I tend to be more comfortable at 60. However, my husband uses it to commute almost everyday and she drives the 60 miles both ways with an ease.
Sunroof is a nice touch but at times it has a habit of rattling a bit and on longer journeys it tends to be enoying. This is just a single fault I found with this car though... and it stops rattling when open.

As far as the costs go it's one of the cheapest cars out there.
She's not a drinker, fits within lowest tax and insurance group and it takes us anywhere we wish with no complaints. We've been sooooo lucky so far and hope to continue on that note.
PS. I give it 4 stars just for being a mini, which itself has limitations but 4 stars is still great, isn't it!
