Advantages: It salves dry parts of exposed skin and smells of lavender
Disadvantages: Not to my knowledge
It gives me a great pleasure to write the first review on Burt's Bees Hand Salve - a farmer's friend. "It is made of botanical oils, herbs and beeswax. Specially formulated to deeply penetrate dry, chapped hands and other areas that need extra moisturising. For best results, gently massage the salve into skin daily before and after gardening and other outdoor activities." - Says the box.
Let's try and see what it really does...
I use it after clearing my hands of eczema with Miracle Salve.
Hand Salve has a nice smell and consistency of petroleum jelly.
You just pick some with your fingertips and rub it into your hands. It does, what it says and more... After a bath I used it on my feet, especially heels, and put cotton socks on. The next day my feet felt and looked like new; no hard skin, no dry patches just softness and suppleness. The same goes for hands and elbows. Burt's Bees proved once more that they not just a pretty bearded face. They really mean the business.
