I have to admit to one of my addictions, buying from eBay.
In most cases, I can trust my choices and good will of sellers.
Things I buy vary from small items, like cosmetics and beauty products, through clothes, electronics, small home appliances, garden plants, fitness equipment (like treadmill), to furniture, largest of which was a sofa-bed with self-collection option.
We are quite happy with the products bought from eBay and most of them wouldn’t be accessible to us otherwise, due to original prices that on eBay are only fractional. If you moving house, you’ll fully appreciate the benefits of this possibility.
One of our best buys to date would have to be oak veneer square occasional table with a drawer. This fine piece of furniture would have cost us at least £50 – £100 if bought from a retailer. It was new and, I believe, a surplus from larger set. Luckily, it looked as part of our existing furniture and we bought it for just a small amount plus collection from the seller – still a great deal.
Today I am happy to add to the positive experience with eBay.
Not the first time, I decided to buy myself a winter boots on Internet and eBay was my first choice.
I had very specific requirements: good size, nice fit, comfort and mid-high heels.

Out of all numerous offers, I singled out one of them and after careful and lengthy consideration went for a Caprice Ladies Boots that promised to be extremely comfortable with a shock absorbing heels, moisture controlling interior and a quality leather exterior… And guess what? I just got it and all is there, just as promised and described…
The interior is so soft you’d want to wear it on your hands; it’s made of some soft felt material that’s a pleasure to touch and makes walking that bit softer. I wanted heels but also be able to walk without a wobble associated with high heels. These heels are 2 inch high and still fashionable enough to feel it without unwanted side effect.
I chose a 1/2 size bigger than my usual shoe size to be able to wear socks on cooler days and the fit is just perfect for that purpose… I tell you I couldn’t have done better if I attempted a high street shoe shopping. In fact, I’m sure I wouldn’t… I’d probably be tired beyond the point of reasonable judgement after visiting couple of shops and, out of desperation, would have bought the least likely specimen that might or might not be of practical use to me …
Browsing on Internet is not only less exhausting but also much less intimidating…You can preview every item from any possible angle, compare prices without embarrassment and ask questions before ordering, the only thing you cannot do is touch it – that bit is left unknown to you until delivery.
Fortunately, to me the surprise was better that anticipated – I wish you had it just as good…
